ABOUT US
Our Beginning Story...
Established in 2018, Zaemah Zuhori is a Chartered Accountant’s firm registered with the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA). The Firm was founded by two partners, whom both are Chartered Accountants with many years of experience in public practice and commercial sector.
The mission of the Firm is to help small and medium enterprises (SMEs) build its very own accounting department, whether internally or externally, that is aligned with the current business environment. This is especially relatable to start-up companies or companies at growth stage, where transitioning from manual to computerized accounting can be challenging.
In the long run, the Firm sees its vision as to be able to strengthen the accounting industry in such a way that it offers not just valuable services to businesses, but also as an employer of choice to accounting graduates.
Our country economy has seen tremendous revolution where people are getting so much into entrepreneurship, hence the need of an accountant is crucial. Nor Zaemah is the Founder and also the Senior Partner of Zaemah Zuhori. She has more than 19 years of working experience in the accounting industry.
Upon graduation, she began her career with an external audit firm in Kuala Lumpur. After almost 6 years, she left the firm to join commercial sector as an accountant where she was involved in setting up the accounts department from scratch.
In 2018, she set-up Zaemah Zuhori to devote her passion in accounting work with the intention to create awareness to small and medium businesses about their statutory compliance requirements.
She holds a Company Secretary practicing license from Suruhanjaya Syarikat Malaysia (SSM). Recently, she was appointed as Independent Non-Executive Director and the Chairperson of Audit and Risk Management Committee in Radium Development Berhad.
She is a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA), Persatuan Akauntan Percukaian Malaysia (MATA) and Institute of Corporate Directors Malaysia (ICDM). She holds a Master of Commerce from The University of Western Australia and Bachelor of Accountancy (Hons) from Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM).
MOHD ZUHORI AWANG, C.A (M)

Mohd Zuhori is the co-Founder and also the Managing Partner of Zaemah Zuhori. He has almost 19 years of working experience, mainly in the auditing and accounting areas.
His career started in an external audit firm in Kuala Lumpur before moving to the internal audit sector with an investment bank and one of the largest quick service restaurant company. During this time, he has gained vast experience in developing internal control framework, risk management and financial analysis. He also involved in audit investigation within the group of companies. His work exposure in internal audit spanned across Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei and Cambodia.
Upon leaving the corporate world in 2018, he gave his full commitment to Zaemah Zuhori as the business strategist and coordinator. He is a strong advocate for helping the poor and needy via his involvement in the neighbourhood mosque activities.
He is a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) and Persatuan Akauntan Percukaian Malaysia (MATA). He holds a Bachelor in Accountancy (Hons) from Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) and a licensed tax consultant approved by Lembaga Hasil Dalam Negeri (LHDN).
